Over the years, I have cozied up to the label as installation artist - one who not only visually but also conceptually transforms a space. I have had various opportunities to install art within the confines of a gallery, however my current attraction has been applying these skills in a domestic setting.

When engaging in the creative process, my intent is to highlight the overlooked value in typically ordinary items and assign them new, visual purpose. My aesthetic preferences include industrial, architectural elements that I will reuse and pair with natural fibers ranging from rope, yarn, jute, thread, fabric, wood, paper, and photographs.  I will often utilize found objects to establish overarching themes or concepts, as well as to determine the functional and aesthetic relationship the object can have with fibers.

Generally, my work utilizes various methods including macramé, weaving, sewing, natural and synthetic dying, painting, woodworking, digital and film photography, typography, designing, and audio/video digital media.
